Offering professional and competent impartial advice combined with a wealth of experience from working closely with Racing Trainers, MOD establishments, Equestrian Centres, Colleges and private individuals to know what is required in supplying top class equine surfaces for all disciplines and budgets.

Derek Lea:

(Based in the South of the UK, Dorset / Hertfordshire offices)

Diploma in Surveying and a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from University of Reading and a Diploma in Agriculture. After leaving school Derek joined the South African Army Equestrian Centre where he trained as a riding instructor and travelled all over South Africa competing in show jumping and three day eventing competitions. He has had a successful career in property and estate management whilst still keeping a keen interest in horses. In 2000 Derek moved to the United Kingdom where he has worked in property and equestrian centre management. He has an excellent knowledge of construction and design of arenas and surfaces.

John Hughes, Senior Sales Consultant:

(Based in the Midlands)

Based in Staffordshire. John has had many years experience in the senior sales management and silica sand industry, specialising in equestrian grade sands, before joining the team. John has experience in the construction of indoor and outdoor arenas, he is also knowledgable in the construction of all weather synthetic gallops, working closely with the Jockey Club and racing trainers throughout the UK.
