Equestrian Surfaces International

About Us

Equestrian Surfaces is part of a group of companies formed in the United Kingdom over 20 years ago. We are the world's leading manufacturer and installer of synthetic all weather equine surfaces.

More than 40 people are employed within the group which not only manufactures equine surfaces but quite uniquely manufactures its own synthetic fibrous raw materials.

Equestrian Surfaces now offer a wide range of materials and surfaces suitable for all equestrian disciplines from the flagship surface Cushion Track Premier, the ultimate waxed surface, to performance enhancing track stabilizer additives manufactured in our recently commissioned granulating plant.

Many years of research and development together with extensive field tests have resulted in a range of surfaces second to none, which all have been subjected to the merciless scrutiny of the Sports Turf Research Institute.

Cushion Track Premier is one of the few racing surfaces approved by the British Horse Racing Authorities (formerly the Jockey Club), to be used as an all weather track racing surface on United Kingdom licensed racecourses.

The range of surfaces has now been widely accepted by the industry, with Cushion Track Premier being generally acclaimed as the definitive waxed surface by many trainers, riders and institutions such as Paul Nicholls, Bill Smith, Robert Smith, Ferdi Eilberg, Kill International Equestrian Centre in Southern Ireland, and Sheikh Mohammad Al Maktoum, all have firmly endorsed the product as the ultimate all weather riding surface. In 2002, the organisers Horsepower, chose Cushion Track for ‘All the Queens Horses’ part of the Jubilee celebrations for Her Majesty the Queen at the Windsor Horse Show.

Over the past few years the company has carried out major installations in Europe, Dubai, Australia and the USA with manufacturing units and sales offices having been established to market and produce the company’s products in a wide range of climatic and ground conditions. Equestrian Surfaces have now supplied quality riding surfaces to over 20 countries.
