Surface top-up for RAF Northolt Saddle Club
Based in West London, the RAF Northolt station is used by both military and civilian aircraft and is home to units from all three Armed Services and the Ministry of Defence. The station plays an important role, acting as base for both 32 (The Royal) Squadron and 63 Squadron RAF Regiment (Queen’s Colour Squadron), amongst others.
With a 60m x 30m outdoor riding arena in place at the RAF Northolt Saddle Club, our team was contracted to install 160 tonnes of our own Premier Track surface, laid on top of the existing surface to boost consistency and performance and provide a fresh footing.
Thank you to team Equestrian Surfaces for your assistance with the project. Your knowledge of surfaces and construction was integral to this project, and we couldn’t be happier with the finished result!
In addition to giving the surface a new lease of life and having it graded and commissioned using our own Trackmaster leveller, our team also replaced the rotten top board around the arena, giving the project a superb finish.
