RACING

At Equestrian Surfaces Ltd we take a great deal of pride not only in the quality of our products, but also in the quality of the service we provide.

Our racing surfaces are manufactured with the use of state-of-the-art equipment and technology to comply with all relevant safety regulations to the highest standards.

With high levels of performance, durability and consistency in mind, each surface we manufacture has been designed to withstand the demands for use on training tracks, gallops and racetracks. Surfaces are climate dependent and are designed specifically for each country. This is so they can withstand heat and/ or low temperatures and there will be no compromise to performance, regardless of climatic changes.

THE SURFACE RANGE

Quality synthetic surfaces

CUSHION TRACK RACING

Cushion Track Racing is constructed with a unique blend of multi-washed silica sand and environmentally friendly synthetic fibres, which combine to provide a consistent and reliable surface with minimum kick-back. Durable in all weathers, this surface offers optimum levels of shock absorption and energy return, supporting the horse at high speed and on turns, thus reducing the likelihood of injury.

WAX TRACK RACING

Wax Track Racing is relied upon for regular, high-impact ‘work surface’ used on training tracks across the UK. Offering quality and consistency, this high-performance surface has been designed to support the movements of horses, allowing riders to work confidently and with peace of mind. The more open nature of this surface allows horses to work deeper in the surface (more ‘toe in’), which in turn assists trainers with their fitness programmes for their horses.

Testimonials

Equestrian Surfaces’ Cushion Track is extremely consistent and doesn’t move under you. It’s, without a doubt, one of the best surfaces I’ve ever ridden on.

Noel Fehily, Former Jockey

Since installing Cushion Track, the surface has become widely known as the best surface in Lambourn. Younger horses can work for longer without soreness, and we are able to use it 365 days of the year.

Charlie Mann, Lambourn Trainer

Since having Cushion Track installed, we have found injuries to the horses have been cut by two thirds. We use the gallop all year round; it has withstood the heat of summer and, more importantly, the cold of winter, as it never freezes. The jockeys like the surface because there is minimal kickback and the horses are more sure-footed, which gives both horse and rider more confidence.

Paul Nicholls, Champion Trainer

Equestrian Surfaces Ltd carried out the project in a professional and efficient manner, providing us with detailed updates at each stage of the project, thus facilitating synchronisation between the other contractors. Since the installation, the response from trainers and riders alike has been very positive and we look forward to a long-term relationship with Equestrian Surfaces.
